Hello everyone,
I’m currently working on a project where I need to stream the video output from a VR headset to a web interface using WebRTC, with the goal of providing live technical assistance. However, I’m encountering a couple of issues:
•Sending the Video Stream: The stream from the VR headset doesn’t seem to initiate properly. Despite setting up a basic WebRTC signaling server and exchanging SDP and ICE candidates, the video stream fails to be transmitted.
•Displaying the Video: Even when a connection appears to be established, I’m unable to render or read the video stream in the browser.
What I’ve Tried So Far:
•Verified that the VR headset’s video output works correctly using local debugging tools.
•Implemented a basic signaling server to handle SDP and ICE candidate exchange.
•Applied various media constraints to ensure the proper video format.
•Tested on multiple browsers to rule out compatibility issues.
•Reviewed network logs and error messages, but nothing conclusive has emerged.
I’m looking for guidance or suggestions on what might be causing these issues. Has anyone successfully streamed VR headset video using WebRTC for similar applications? Any tips on configuration or debugging strategies would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help!
