So, turning on my PC while the Meta Quest 3 is connected seems to cause the headset to turn on for a second, do something briefly, and then turn off. After that, I get a message saying, 'The last USB device you connected to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows doesn't recognize it.' But everything works fine when I turn the headset on manually. Someone mentioned that it's due to an automatic wake option, which causes the headset to turn on and then back off, leading to the PC not recognizing it because it disconnects abruptly. So, they said it's nothing to worry about. But how does auto wake work if the headset is completely powered off? Is my headset damaged, or did the PC somehow damage it by turning it on?
First time i've gotten it as first time i've left the headset connected to the computer?
anything to worry about or normal/a glitch?

Hey, @StephenB95!
As @Choleni touched upon, your PC will briefly send power to the USB ports as part of the start-up process, it will then will stop, and then send power again.
If you've ever had a phone connected via USB when you powering on your PC you'll notice it start to charge for a moment and then stop charging. This is completely normal.
It shouldn't case any issues but you can always just make sure your Quest is unplugged before powering on the PC to avoid this error message appearing.
Hope this helps. Let me or @Choleni know if you need anything else!

Hi @StephenB95 🙂
I don't think you have to worry about.
Try if you get this error message also when you not shut off the headset, but let it in sleep mode.
I never turn off the headst and don't get the message when I start the pc.
I think this happens because the usb cable sends power to a turned off headset when the pc starts......but that's just guessing.
