Just got a new Quest 3 and new link cable and I've been getting very annoyed with the USB C port refusing to cooperate. And when I use the in box charging cable and charger, I'd get the headset's LED going from blank to orange and the screen constantly flashing the meta logo followed by charging status, wasting time and energy when it should just be sitting still and charging.
@aqueous.chromosomes the USB water debris thing is still ongoing. If the headset is completely switched off, then it shouldn't be doing the flashing thing during charging. Maybe a future update or a factory reset will sort the issues out.

I can confirm I had this error today, on a Quest 3, on V72.
Absolutely crazy that the sensor bug still hasn't been patched. For added fun, my charging cable wasn't even connected!
I should probably be thankful my device wasn't bricked, like so many others..........
