USB Sensor Disconnects on new pc build

I was using the rift on the iMac without issue same equipment. I decided to build a PC for a better VR experience and now I'm having usb disconnect issue when not using the rift. Also the disconnects  seem to be causing a hand shake issue during non vr games

I have disabled usb power management, updated bios and drivers and my sensors still disconnect when not in use.  I have even tried the Oculus Tool

Any idea how to fix this issue it's very annoying it doesn't happen a lot just every 10 to 30 mins.

As mention above this step has been done and I still keep getting usb disconnects with the rift sensors. I have also updated my motherboard bios and downloaded any available drivers.

I didn't have this issue on my iMac so this has to be software related or something other then the rift hardware

I had this very same problem with my PC. IIRC, it was a specific driver I had to get. it was either ID10-XN  or ID10-T, I cannot recall which.

Tornado at what USB ports have you connect the sensors ?, not at the USB 2.0, right ? The sensors must be connected at USB port 3.0 or above.

I have the third sensor hooked up with the extension cable it comes with it says it takes the third sensor down to usb 2.0 on the extension cable.   The third sensor is plugged into a usb 2.0 port.  I think my msi z270 m7 gaming motherboard only has 3 usb 3.0 ports.
