Unable to Complete Initial Setup on Meta Quest 3 Due to Controller Update Failure After Headset Repl

I was using the Meta Quest 3, but I had to exchange it due to a defect. Only the headset was replaced; the controllers were not. I received the replacement headset, but I'm unable to complete the initial setup because the controller update keeps failing. Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this?

Hi there, @ekuara! We absolutely want to make sure you're able to hop in the VR world with both controllers functioning properly, so we'd love to assist further! in order for us to understand this situation a little better, let's start by clarifying the following details when you get a chance: 

 

  • Is there an LED light on your controller? If so, what color and it it blinking or solid?
  • Are both controllers affected or just one? 
  • What specifically is happening when you go to pair your headset with this controller? 
  • So we don't repeat any, what troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
