I'm trying to register a Meta for Developers account, but I’m getting stuck at the mobile verification step. After entering my mobile number and requesting the SMS code, I received the code but when I try to input it, I get the following error message:
“You may want to slow down or stop to avoid a restriction on your account. We limit how often you can post, comment or do other things in a given amount of time to help protect the community from spam.”
I believe my account may have been rate-limited, but I haven’t made excessive attempts. I’m located in India and using number +91 97694 XXXXX. I've tried clearing cache and different browsers with no success.
Could someone from the team help me resolve this? I need access to the developer platform urgently for a project.

We recommend using your credit card for setting up Developer Mode. We suggest this as you had mentioned that you are in an unsupported country, which means that you might face difficulty in receiving SMS messages from us.
