Unable to add Payment Method

I can t add any credit card to my account. I tried 6 different credit card master, visa, American Express and debit. No luck. I couldn’t buy any thing for 1 year. Is this Facebook Oculus!!! Why you bought oculus!!! To make more harder to serve oculus services!!! That is enough for me. Just solve my problem. You have big problems but no one can see these and no one try to solve it on your team!!!!

I see you’re replying to almost everyone but me. Is my issue that complicated? I can’t add a payment method…… I don’t know why this is so difficult to fix. Shouldn’t your entire business model be centered around receiving payments?

I found out that I could make transactions by adding my credit card to my PayPal, setting it as my default payment method on PayPal, adding funds to my credit card, and then selecting PayPal when I go to make a purchase on the Oculus app. It seems to only work with certain cards though. For example, I first tried using my debit card through PayPal but that didn't work so I tried doing it with my credit card and it worked fine.

Let me know if this helped. It's extremely dumb how hard it is to buy games on this thing.

i have the same as husmen73 i cant save a payment method it just doesnt work i want to buy a game but i cant if anyone knows how to solve it please tell me

The only way I've been able to buy any software is to use a different account and gift it to myself... and it's been this way for at least six months looooool

You'll definitely want to reach out via a support ticket regarding payment issues. They have the tools to fix problems like these.

I have been trying to solve this issue with support and I finally found a workaround.  Go into your Facebook account and add your address.  Then make sure that the address matches your Paypal account (the credit card didn't work since they don't ask for an address).  the payment is failing because someone made full address verification required then they didn't ask for it when adding a credit card.

I just upgraded to a Quest 2 from a Quest 1 and now I’m experiencing this issue. So disappointing… I was loving my vr experiences, hence the upgrade.

I can access my account and all my games but I can’t add payment method. Spent my day off trying to resolve the issue. Tech told me they’ll look into it and get back to me.

It really is unbelievable that accepting payment is a problem. I mean, I’ve got a couple hundred bucks burning a hole in my pocket. I want to try out the new releases for Quest 2. pretty disappointed tbh
