I can t add any credit card to my account. I tried 6 different credit card master, visa, American Express and debit. No luck. I couldn’t buy any thing for 1 year. Is this Facebook Oculus!!! Why you bought oculus!!! To make more harder to serve oculus services!!! That is enough for me. Just solve my problem. You have big problems but no one can see these and no one try to solve it on your team!!!!

I am having the same problem where I can only add vanilla visa gift cards and not regular visa gift cards. I really want to buy shiny rocks on gorilla tag but I can't because I don't have any payment methods with enough money.

I'm having same issue with Meta Quest 3 that I just bought.... chatted and emailed several conversations explaining over and over that all my payment methods are just fine and I tried on all my devices.... never got any answers to why or what the unusual activity on my account was. And no real help from their end... what did you do to fix it?

I too have the same problem. It started when someone ordered a Quest 3 for me as a gift. My purchases kept getting canceled. CS told me to delete my credit card information from the account and then re-add the information. After deleting my credit card information, I get the same message that everyone else here gets: "Sorry, we couldn't add your payment method." I have tried on different devices, apps, and browsers, with different credit cards. Even purchases with my paypal account get cancelled. I have contacted customer support several times and they have still not fixed it. I respond to their emails, and I have not heard back. This has continued for well over a week. Is there anyone else I can get in touch with to get this case escalated? I'm at my wits end, and there seems to be no resolution in sight.

Yeah mine started after I bought a couple units for friends. If you ever get a fix let this thread know bc I'm fairly certain none of us have had much luck. I just can't go back through the same process again or I'd start another ticket up. I was frustrated when they wouldn't take my money, but then I got really frustrated when their support team had me do the same effing steps over and over for a months only to keep pass me along to yet another person who had me do the same shi over and over again. And I love that this thread is tagged solved... like yo... it absolutely never was solved.

I have the same problem ever since I got my quest pro in 2022
i recently looked into buying virtual desktop and same story as you guys my card won’t work, the wife card won’t work & stupid customer support keep asking the same 7 questions…
I personally gave up & sent a complain to the office of customer affair in Canada & they are on the war path with big tech lately.
this is basically false advertisement.

I got my quest 3 on day 1 and when I tried to make purchases my paypal account that I have been using since Quest1 got an error saying they see something suspicious. My account was then locked and many many attempts to fix have left my account still unable to add payment method. It has now been 1 month. They "do something to my account" try again and I cant add a CC nor paypal account. I try with different methods, I try on deferent networks, different CCs, etc. I have done EVERYTHING on that supposed fix list and nogo. It completely amazes me that no one at meta after 1 entire month can't figure out why my account is in this state.
