I (22) recently purchased a Meta Quest 3s for my sister (14) and set up a brand new Meta account for her. I have my account as the primary device owner (for game sharing purposes) and her account is on the headset as well.
We have discovered that, in both the headset and Meta Horizon app, we cannot request each other as a friend. This is troubling since I have a personal Quest 3, which I also attempted to friend her on, that I use and would like to play with her on.
We do not have each other blocked, the privacy settings allow for friend requests, and we have demonstrated the ability to add other people.
I attempted to reach out to the chat support on the Meta website, but they basically said that they can't help me and to post in the forums. So here I am.
Please help as I am excited to get to play with her for the Christmas season.
