Unable to log into meta account - Facebook shows Meta Horizon account

Having an issue logging into the Meta Account. Had to ask my nephew to make an account with Meta to even write a "FORUM POST" not even a support ticket to express the issue. How in the world is there not a dedicated support number for this type of situation?

Well back to the issue, logging into the Facebook account associated with the Meta Horizon profile shows that the Meta Horizon profile is scheduled for deletion and clicking "Cancel Deletion" prompts this.

Confirm your Meta Account to Change Settings

Go to Meta to confirm account: "Name". ; will not be providing the account name.

and a button with "testing" and does nothing

Attempting to log into the the Meta Account website through auth.meta.com website

prompts the error listed below

Something went wrong

"This may be because of a technical error that we are working to get fixed. You can try continuing another way, or try again later"

and then attempting to sign in with just the email seemed hopeful since it asked to check email address for confirmation code....

However, few hours later still no email from "notification@email.meta.com", 

I have checked all inboxes; including but not limited to mail, spam, and trash...

If anyone had similar problems and can point me to the correct direction much appreciated.
