Just turned on my quest 3S and was met with a screen telling me to take off my headset and go to mega.com/setup and log into my meta horizon account and type in a code. Followed these steps and was unable to log into my horizon account without being told to link my Facebook, logged in with Facebook to do this and it just created an independent account instead. I have tried every avenue to log into my horizon account but am unable to due to it telling me I need to link my Facebook despite making that impossible. Went to the meta horizon app and found I had been logged out and was met with the same issue while trying to log back in. I had to make a new meta account just to make this post
Login to my account failed. Headset has been logged out, mobile app as well. The browser session proposes my account but needs to re-authenticate. Both sending the confirmation mail and logging in using the password fails.
I don't care so much that I can't login to a new device when the server is down. But I absolutely can't tolerate that I can't use the headset I bought because meta **bleep**s up their servers.
This needs to be quite on top of the list of bugs to fix!
Suffering the same issue. I thought I had made a mistake, but this proves that something is going on. I tried to see if I had made some mistake and tried to see if I could reset the password for the account for Meta Horizon and even more concerning was the fact that it couldn't even find the email I had used to make the account even when I have an email from Meta I used to confirm the account. I had to make a one to add my voice to the concern.
Interestingly creating new accounts works, so it's not that their authentication servers don't work at all but instead they've lost some of the account data.
I am having the same issue under a separate account. I can log into my account and my daughters account but I am getting these exact same issues trying to log in to my sons account. And when I tried to go thru an entirely different computer that has never been logged into a meta account, it is pulling up an email address that I haven't used in years and no longer have access to. And there is no where I can find to get any type of support other than faq that are of zero help. No email to reach out to for support. So frustrated!! Has anyone found a fix aside from creating a new account??
This is straight trash. My wife and I both can’t login into app with what we created yesterday for our two sons to play the systems they saved up money tk buy cause of this Meta bull****
had to make a new account just to post here and worried we will lose free game if try tk reset everything for then since it had us redeem them last night when we set them up for them.
same issue, only had the quest 3 for 6 days and im already unable to use it, i purchased 2 games, 1 yesterday and 1 today and i already regret to have bought a product associated to this company
I think I'm return the two I got and just fork out more money for the PS5 one for my kiddos. At least I dont' have to make a bazillion accounts to have it work... and have it go down.
