Unable to private message

OMG, I tried to raise an issue with using the referral code, and used the private message, Its my first PM, and I get the error "You have reached the limit for number of private messages that you can send for now. Please try again later.", Its so broken or am i doing something wrong?

 

It also throws an error about html if the message has a link, I still get the error after changing the link to plain text

 

Correct the highlighted errors and try again.

Your post has been changed because invalid HTML was found in the message body. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and send the message when you are satisfied.

I don't find anything highlighted.

I believe, you get this "You have reached the limit for number of private messages that you can send for now. Please try again later." message, because you tried sending a message before having any posts on forum.....maybe some automatic spam filter??

Now you have a post😁.....maybe it's working now.

If not, you also can open a support ticket instead of sending a PM @MetaQuestSupport 

You can open a ticket on the lollowing link.....scroll down to "Contact support"

I get the same issue, i feel like i'm fighting with the meta website. Can't figure out what is my problem, contact support, but than can't answer the support.. that is such a vicious cycle.

Now i get the same html issue, it is quite exhausting. I'll try again later.

Hey, I came here searching the exact problem you are having and I am also having it. It is a nightmare. Sent a message to support and they replied asking for info. Try to send info. Can't send info because invalid html. "We have removed invalid html please send again". Try to send again. " You have reached the limit of private messages try again later".... Why even offer support if your customers can't interact with your support people. Or at the very least if you need these private message limits for some actual logical reason then let the user know how long they have have to sit around before they are aloud to send one message.

I had posted before and was still receiving the same errors and problems.

maybe clear your browser cache and try again.

Can you send PMs to other persons?

Im also receiving the exact same erros! This is a nightmare, impossible to appeal a suspension despite not even using an account yet let alone speak to someone to understand what is going on or even ask the community support! Horrible company and horrible experience.
