Unable to receive 25% discounts on games - UK account

Hi, just posted the below within someone elses post but think it needs a thread of its own

 

Summary is my acount is a UK english account, and recently it has stopped letting me claim the 25% referral discount, including from my own partner whos account is also in the UK.  In reverse it works fine to her account

I have this exact same issue too, and I am in the UK, which IS a supported country.

I can send referrals no problem and if people buy then I'm getting the £4 credit added, but anytime I try to buy from a link there is no discount

 

My partner who uses our 2nd headset has no problem on testing but she only owns a few games as not a regular player.  I cannot even use links from her on games I do not have, and she has not maxed out a referral limit on.  

Here for example is a game link from someone else, the left side is partners account, right side is my account

You can see the header title both do say "Get 25% off GOLF+" but not in the details of the page.

If I choose "See it in the Meta Quest store"  and go as if to checkout, confirmed no discount applies, on all I've tried

Hi, I already replied to PM, but did not get an answer just a template response saying can send it to specialist team, which I asked to, and then the same again effectively stating that you "periodically offer deals to randomly selected users, and that specific offer is not available to your account at this time" - so still not giving an answer

I've just checked the link you said but that is regarding the "Invalid Link" message, which is different to the error that I have.   They could of course be linked but thats not my issue.  I can click the links fine, no Invalid Link error, and I can generate my own too, I just cannot BUY a game from someone elses referral, even from my partner who has a UK acccount and know she has not hit any limits on referrals etc, as per the screenshots it doesnt offer me 25% discount, whilst still saying 25% discount in the title bar at the top of the browser

Hi, I already did this and get a fairly generic response afterwards

If there's anything else you're curious about or need assistance with, just give us a shout!"

Hi, I have replied to the more recent message in PM now, and was referred to the other thread, that is an acknowledged issue ( https://communityforums.atmeta.com/t5/Get-Help/Referred-App-keeps-showing-Invalid-Link/td-p/1195193 ) - but that is not the problem I have as mentioned previously, I can generate links no problem, I cannot buy.  Or rather I do not get Invalid Link message but just an invite to "view the game" - but I will add my name to there
