My specs: Windows 10, 256gb Quest 2, USB-A to USB-C cable to my PC, file size ranges from 8GB-20GB
I have over 70GB available in my Quest 2 but I'm unable to transfer large MP4 video files (all of which are >9GB) to it. I have developer mode enabled with USB debugging activated and I can't directly transfer the files over on my PC nor with Sidequest. The transfer reaches 100% but the file does not appear in my Oculus with both methods.
Several people have posted about this issue on Reddit very recently as well, some of them noted that a factory reset did not fix the issue so I have not and will not try that.

This is what I have found out to connect your quest 2 to the computer and it work everytime.
If you want get be able to succesfully enter the accept to transfer files message please shut down wi-fi
on the quest 2.
Then Always Shut down the quest 2 and turn it on every time you want to connect the cable,
if you do this you will be able to transfer files.
After you disconnect the cable you will have to shut down the quest 2 and restart it again to be able to connect
again.
As for the file tranfer itself I still have not been able to understand what is going on.
I get to transfer files 10 times sometimes without problems, and then sometimes i struggle 5-6 times before being able to transfer the files.
This shouldent be a problem to fix, I dont understand why this is taking so long.
If anything please let us roll back to the last update. Im not on the net anyway unless I want to install a game.

I've noticed with v54 if my headset has gone to sleep and I connect the Link cable and allow file access the headst will not show up as a drive/device in Windows 10until I restart the HMD. It wasn't do this in v53 and earlier. Similar thing was happening with AirLink in an earlier release. If the headset went to sleep it would lose connection to AirLink I would have to reboot before the headset would even recognize the AirLink device.

Why did you set this problem as "solved?" when it's not clearly solved? That's disgusting.
I bought this product today and I spend so much energy and stress on basic file transfer.

Stop redirecting and provide us a reliable solution ffs. It's a basic file transfer and been knowned issue for 2+ months. Tell your developers to do their job.

Bought Meta Quest 2 today. Failed to transfer files from PC to the headset. Quest 1 had no problem like this. I've searched the forum and many people had similar issues back in April when you guys released the new OS update. How is it not still fixed?
At least give us an option to roll back the OS update so we can at least "TRANSFER" the files.

Meta why don't you just go back to the previous OS. It's not like anything noticeable changed apart from this gigantic **bleep** up regarding transfer of files, specifically mp4s

Any update?
Also this issue isn't resolved so don't mark it as such.

The worst part is a problem that's happing for months and this topic says it's solved, I doubt that any mods still look for the issue, would be best just create a new topic for each person to make them aware it's a problem that needs to be fixed!!
