Hello.
I am having trouble updating the software of my Oculus Rift headset. In the Meta PC app, I see a message stating "Please update your headset software," and the software version shows "Bootloader/Bootloader (Update Required)." However, no update option appears, and I am unable to proceed.
In addition, I am encountering a critical error in SteamVR when trying to use the headset. The message says: “An unexpected SteamVR error has occurred.”
Here is some additional information:
- Device: Oculus Rift
- Serial Number: WMHD303L200XJ
- Current Software Version: Bootloader/Bootloader (Update Required)
- Platform: Windows 11
- Oculus App: Latest version (reinstalled to confirm)
- Tried reconnecting all USB and HDMI cables, changing USB ports, and restarting the PC
