Hello, I recently received an email from Meta Horizon: "Hi Mikhail! To continue using this account, please indicate that you are over 13 or have a parent add you to the 10-12 account."
They asked me to provide an ID or debit card to verify my age.
When I sent a photo of my Russian passport, a few hours later I was rejected and the system sent me an email with the following message:
"Hi Mikhail!
Thank you for taking a photo of your ID. We want to make sure that only you have access to your Meta account. Unfortunately, we cannot use the ID you provided to verify your identity.
There was a problem with the ID you provided. You can provide another ID. Try verifying your identity again."
After that, I tried to link my debit card, but the system did not want to recognize my debit card, since it has a specific payment system MIR, which is used in Russia after the closure of MasterCard and Visa
As a result, on November 16, my Horizon profile may be blocked, and I cannot confirm my age in any way, since the system does not accept my Russian passport and debit card
