My friend's Facebook account was recently hacked, and during the breach, the hacker created a Meta account using her personal data but linked it to the hacker's email address. The hacker then connected this Meta account to her Facebook profile.
We have successfully secured her Facebook account by changing the password, email, etc.... However, we are unable to disconnect or remove the unauthorized Meta account because Facebook requires the password for the Meta account, which we don’t have since it was created using the hacker's email.
Additionally, we can't reset the password for the Meta account, as we don't have access to the hacker's email. We are urgently seeking help to either disconnect or remove this Meta account from her Facebook.
Please assist us with the necessary steps to resolve this issue.
