My instagram account has recently been hacked after clicking a link by a spammer which later on set up an account centre under meta horizon to list my instagram account under his account. I tried ways to set up a FB account as suggested by another user post and add my fb account to remove my IG from his account centre, it doesn't work.
There is no way i can retrieve my account back because the email has been changed to his email and every trigger will only alert him to block my access further. I can provide verification, identification to prove i am the account owner to the instagram account and he has no rights and is unauthorized to claim it under his meta horizon account.
I have PM Meta support and i hope this can be resolved soonest. Before he pulled my account away to another meta horizon.
