I got my Quest 2 recently and wanted to play beatsaber, so i bought it on steam. Steam Vr , although buggy with other games too, hasn’t been too bad with beatsaber since i got it. However recently whenever i tried to quit a song (which you have to do by pressing the 3 lines leading to the inevitable steam Vr game pop up), once quitting out of the steam VR menu pop up it lags out my game completley- it runs at like 10fps with it barley rendering a 360 view- meaning that when i turn around it renders in the space as black till it renders in seconds later. At first when i got this issue, i would hop in the steam vr game pop up multiple times thinking of it as only a glitch and it happened to fix itself, this would also happen barley from time to time. However when playing today it happened every time i clicked pause and couldn’t even get it to fix itself after like 10 minutes of clicking on and off of the pause menu- the only way i could fix the issue was through restarting and even then after playing for a little bit it crashed my game and steam be also crashed so i stopped playing. It doesn’t make any sense why it’s getting “worse” when i used the same 3.0 usb c to usb link cable, as well as having a perfectly fine pc to run it with- i5-9400k w/ rtx 2060 w/ 16GB ram . Furthermore, this happened to happen off the bat with a different game- pokerstar vr, the same rendering issue would happen when launching it off steam Vr but this would happen from startup. At first I thought it was the new hardrive i got, but it had nothing to do with it. I have also reinstalled the oculus program and steam vr before -not related to this issue- so it wouldn’t make sense for there to be faulty files - in which case would any of this be fixed from reinstalling steam VR or is it just buggy across all games?

Hey there, @RomanBaikov! We appreciate you providing that information for us as well as a way to see what it is you're experiencing. Just so we can be as thorough as possible with how best to assist you, could you please let us know if you're seeing the same thing when you play Oculus VR games?

Yes, same with Oculus VR
Looks like problem was because Oculus Dash app was using by default Integrated Intel GPU instead of GeForce RTX. I set correct GPU for Oculus Dash in Nvidia Control Panel and it fixed most of problems.

That's great to hear, @RomanBaikov! We're glad to know that switching the GPUs in your laptop was able to help with this issue. If you're still seeing any problems with lag while using PCVR, please let us know, and we'll be more than happy to continue looking into this issue with you!
