Today my Facebook account was hacked. I was able to reset the password. However, the hacker set up 2FA with their email address using an app before I could reset my password. They also created a Meta Account under my Facebook account with the same email. The email address is xxx
I have no idea how to fix this or remove the email address from the Meta Account. I also can't get into my Facebook account due to the 2FA. I've tried to look at the Meta Help Center and Google various searches but nothing has been helpful.
Does anyone have any advice? I have my business page linked to my Facebook and I'd really like to gain access to it again.

Hi Train_1.2.3.4,
We’re sorry to hear you are having trouble with your two factor authentication because your account was hacked however we here on the community forums can’t assist you with this directly.
We can offer support for Meta Quest accounts or Quest device specific issues, but anything related to Facebook account issues we unfortunately don’t have the ability to help with.
If you are having issues with 2FA, the best place to get help is here.
We informed Support about a fraudulent Meta account created by the hacker.
We will be closing this thread since there’s nothing else we can do to help.
Thanks for your understanding.

Having trouble with a Facebook or Instagram account? The best place to go for help with those accounts is the Facebook Help Center or the Instagram Help Center. This community can't help with those accounts.
