Unlinked Facebook, But Horizon Account Still Scheduled for Deletion - Need Help

Hi everyone,

I really need help with my Meta account. My original Meta account was linked to Facebook, but that Facebook account got suspended. Because of that, I was locked out of my Meta Horizon profile and eventually got a message saying my Meta account is scheduled for deletion.

 

I successfully unlinked Facebook from my Meta account, but it still says the account will be deleted. I tried pressing the “Cancel Deletion” button, but it doesn’t work — nothing happens. I also didn’t get any helpful response from Meta support yet.

 

Is there any way to stop this deletion or talk to someone who can help before my data is gone? I really don’t want to lose my Horizon Worlds progress.

 

Any advice, links, or contact options would be greatly appreciated.

Best place to start would be https://www.meta.com/help/quest/

Most likely you are stuck. Your account was associated with an account that was suspended/banned. Just disconnecting it won't remove the association. If they do delete the account you can always create a new account. But I think you might be blocked from using the same email address. At least for a period of time (not sure how long).
