Unstable Quest 3 and Quest Link USB C recognition. A novel with Meta Support.

I have Quest 3 and the official Quest Link cable bought from the Meta website. The experience has been unstable since I started using this device and the Quest Link cable (it's been two months since I bought both new Quest 3 device and cable). A few times, the USB C was no longer recognised and back working from nowhere. Two weeks ago, the USB C stopped being recognised at all, and the quality of the connection became horrible.

The message that shows on the app is "USB 3 connection recommended".

I joined a support chat and spent more than one-hour troubleshooting until he asked me to reboot the PC. After the reboot, I joined the chat again and spent another two hours at least.

Their support process keeps slowly feeding you with more troubleshooting steps. Ask you to extract your Oculus log and send it multiple times. They review the log and come back with more steps.

Finally, after 2 hours, the support person said they had exhausted all the steps and that I would get an email from 'another specialist team' to help with my case. So, I was forced to close the chat and wait for an email.

Now the email chain has started and the same strategy goes on. They keep sending little by little steps via email and the troubleshooting steps are starting to repeat. It feels I'm in a loop and they are just waiting me to give up.

Without any exaggeration, I have probably achieved around 30 to 40 troubleshooting steps so far, including but not limited to: updating firmwares, hardwares, softwares, device factory reset, test with different PC, cable, ports, update of USB ports, GPU and CPU drivers, reinstalling Oculus app disconnected from internet, safe mode, using pilot group app version (which made the situation worse), connecting USB C in multiple directions. 

What next?
