Update: Found the Fix and possible reasons Oculus Go's will not connect to PCs for file transfer

Update:  So I found the fix for both issues.  The one is simple.

If you are prompted to allow access to the file system but nothing comes up you need to go into device manager and totally uninstall and delete the oculus ADB driver.

If you aren't prompted at all the only fix I found was to Factory Reset the Oculus Go from the Oculus App and add it back.  Upon doing that it worked when connecting to my PCs.

I saw that the Oculus Go can be connected to a PC for file transfer however every PC I connect it to no prompts come up and I never see the drive in my file system.

I am having a slightly different problem. When I plug my oculus go into the computer I get an empty headset folder as I should and I get a screen in the oculus asking me to accept access to the pc. all good so far, but as soon as I accept access the folder disappears on the PC so I have no access to any files on the oculus go.

Installed Samsung ADB Driver, installed Oculus ADB driver (latest)
also tried with and without developper mode after hard reseting the device.
Tried different cables, different wifis too.

There is no way my computer even notice i plugged a device.
The Headset doesnt ask me anything too.

when i do "adv devices" the list is empty.
I don't know what i could do more....

On a new Go I wasn't able to get the Internal Storage to show up on the PC because I had enabled Developer access in the Go app (iOS)
What fixed it for me was disabling developer mode in the Oculus iOS app, plugging it into the PC again and allowing access on the Go.

Seems like this is a bug, or if not isn't very helpful.

I factory reset, then it only worked once, and so far never worked again.

I am also having the same issues. Brand new purchase, cannot connect to Mac or Windows. Mac says it needs MTP enabled, but no prompt on the device. Updated AFT, still nothing. Tried Windows which shows a 'VR Headset' device which is blank. Again, no prompts on the headset even when wearing and connecting. Tested multiple data/power micro usb cables, different ports on both systems. Tried the default driver, Oculus and Samsung ones. Reset device multiple times all to no avail. Is there no network transfer at least, this is just sad.

I had the problem where an empty "VR-Heasdset" drive would show in Windows 10 and the Oculus Go would never ask for permission. Once I disconnected the bluetooth connection to my smartphone, it started working and the prompt to "allow access" came up in the headset. All good now!

Check that the Developer Mode is turned off. You can do this by going to Advanced settings of your headset from Oculus app.
