I have a quest 2 and I know that build 26 has been out for a short time now...and yet my device can't even find an update for build 21! What gives?

26 Is one of low volume rollouts, it could take up to 3 weeks for everyone to be updated.

Even if that is the case, why have I still not received the update for build 23?

i am on 21 as well. getting very annoyed. multiple support tickets and no response. really beginning to sour me on vr....

Open up the app on your phone and go to settings. From there, check to make sure that automatic updates is turned on. After months of searching for answers, I finally stumbled across this advice and it fixed everything for me. I hope this works for you as well!

This worked and I am now on build 27. Tried going through oculus support and their answer was to do a factory reset. I have WAY to many hours in games to simply erase the save game files. Luckily, your tip worked. Factory reset should be the very LAST solution, not the first...
