My son had received a notification on the Oculus app and regarding his age needing to be corrected and verified... So I went through the steps which took us to Facebook and updated and verified his age through Facebook.
Meta then wanted to confirm which bday was the correct one, so I selected the correct bday.
However, he is still receiving a notification in the app that his account needs to have this bday verified or the account will be suspended Dec 24th. When we click to go through the steps and submit his ID, (BTW for government IDs, state ID isn't an option and it should be) it says you can only do so many changes in a short period of time so we have to try later. When is later??? Will we make it before suspension?
This is a little stressful considering the holidays coming up and the potential to lose a lot of paid content tied to this account. Not to mention his the Oculus Quest 3 upgrade waiting for him...
Edit: after an hour or two it seems to have stopped pestering him so hopefully this is solved now.

Thank you for asking! He did get an email saying the change was accepted and the notifications have gone away so it looks like it's all set! Of course, Murphy's Law being what it was, I'll still be waiting for Dec 24th to come and go. 😉
found work around to " You aren't able to create an account based on the information that you provided.". set birth date to one day before you are 13, wait one day. you will be able to change your age to what ever you want as you will be 13 then. rinse repeat for 17 to 18
META support does not fix and will never change for you
