Urgent: Unauthorized Use of My Phone Number & Account Access Issue

Hello,

 

I recently discovered that my phone number was somehow linked to another Facebook account:

https://www.facebook.com/vitalija.bernotiene.79/

 

I have since removed my number from their account, but I still cannot regain access to my own account.

This is an urgent issue as I manage a business account under Meta, and my clients have added me to their accounts. Being locked out is preventing me from fulfilling my work responsibilities.

Could you please help me restore access to my account as soon as possible?

We would love to be able to help you resolve this issue however, here at Meta Quest support we specialize in VR devices, Meta Horizon accounts, ordering issues etc. We don't have the correct tools or resources to gain access to your Facebook and help fix this issue!

 

To get the best support on this situation, if you reach out to Facebook Help Centre to get this resolved!

I tried the help center of course but it's useless. Do you have an email or phone number where I can reach the support for Meta Business? Thanks!

Me too. 

I can't access my business page and my customers are complaining. Those guides don't work for business pages. This is incredible, I still can't access my company data.

This is completely unacceptable. My phone number was linked to someone else’s account without my permission, which is a breach of privacy and a potential violation of GDPR. I’ve removed my number from that profile, but I’m still locked out of my own business account – an account tied to client assets and Meta Business Manager.

I’ve tried every channel available, including the Help Centre – which, frankly, is a loop of useless articles and dead ends. I’ve received zero actual support.

This isn’t a VR issue – this is a Meta platform security issue that’s directly impacting my ability to run my business and access company data. As a Meta business user, I have the right to access support for a platform issue that affects my account integrity and client management capabilities.

 

I need someone from Meta to escalate this.

If you can’t help here, then point me to someone who actually can. I need direct contact with someone from Meta Business Support. Email. Phone. Anything.

 

Waiting patiently is no longer an option.
