Use the VR but not split the visual screen?

Hello. I'm a novice but I want to show off some of what I've made with Oculus but at the same time display it on the monitor. Is there a way to disable the split screen shown on the monitor while still allowing the headset to properly work and be impressive? Thank you for any help.

The latest runtime only shows a single image, I thought?

This is how it works by default with all the latest software. What engine are you using?
