I decided to change my name and match my username with it a couple weeks ago, after successfully changing my name I went to the change the username only to be met with something went wrong on the meta website and app in accounts center, when going through the meta website profile section where you can type your new name then password, it displays that my password is wrong even though it isn’t. Searching online to troubleshoot, it seemed that I had to re-add my phone number and email, so I did, the email was successful but the phone number wasn't, when trying to use the 6-digit code to authenticate, it tells me the code is wrong no matter how many times I do it. I was wondering by if there was any way that anyone found out how to get around this username change problem, the 6-digit code problem seems to be a years old problem so I won’t even bother with that, I just want to find out if I can change my username.

Nothing I’ve tried works, I think I’m just gonna stick with the name I have or even just create a new account altogether in the future. We’ll have to wait until meta can fix their problems on their side.
