Using Quest 2 on a ship?

I work on a ship, and i brought my Quest 2 with thinking I'd be able to use it on board. Sadly IT seems I was mistaken as the tracking is ALL over the place when the ship moves with the waves. Is it possible that something is wrong, or is it maybe some gyros in the headset that doesnt allow for play on a moving ship?

Good luck! I've since tried it in rough weather. It's much better than with the guardian system turned on, but there are still issues. The error message no longer displays which is a big bonus, but you still get teleported around in the virtual world quite frequently and you need to reset your position a lot. I was playing VRChat on steam VR with OVR Advanced Settings and holding down the playspace dragging button allowed me to maintain my position in-game. I'm not sure you could really play many other games in this fashion. Still, in more mild weather I've found things to work pretty well with guardian turned off, I just need to reset my position from time to time.

I'm at anchor now and it's not possible to play even with the protection system turned off. waiting for a port or a river. My cabin on port side): I think less problem in middle cabins…

Hi all i just got my meta 3  and until we were in port it work flawlessly 

After we sail and the day next i cannot manage to make it works anymore, the floor level is moving  around up and down and the guardian as well until he give me tracking lost,  unless i disable tracking is unusable and i thought that my unit was defective but after i read here and i have still some hope that will work once we dock 

We will be in port again in a few days hope for the best

I'm in the same situation and the only thing I've had luck with is doing PCVR with my old Rift-S that only uses visual tracking.
