I have a driver issue and because of it i am unable to use quest link via oculus app. I need to use the quest link for development (to playtest unity easier). is there any way to use quest link without the oculus app?
Hi there, @Azazel_261! Making sure you can connect smoothly to your PC for the best VR experience is certainly a priority for us, and we definitely understand your urgency in the matter! Currently, the Quest Desktop app is a software requirement in order to utilize that Quest Link connection with your headset, among a few other hardware and PC requirements. That Quest Link connection runs directly through the desktop app, and cannot function properly without it. I bought a meta quest 3 last week to fly flight sims with and I am on my literal 19th e-mail with customer support bots telling me the same fixes over and over and cannot get an actual person. My quest link app will not install at all and I am trying to find an alternative so I can use my cable to PC. High end Hobbyist Flight sims don't work well over WIFI.
