I have to give a big speech in a few months, and thought I'd get a VR headset to practice in front of a virtual crowd and overcome my fear. I also have social anxiety and am nervous about approaching women, talking to strangers etc. and was thinking that a VR headset could help me dip my toe in the water with some exposure therapy. I'm wondering if this is feasible and if so, what VR headset you recommend I get? And games or something to buy on the headset? Sorry for my ignorance, I don't know anything about VR headsets or tech in general haha.
I feel that! I actually started socializing more through Horizon Worlds, VR chat, Big Screen! Even any game that has multiplayer! I have the Meta Quest 2 headset! There are different headsets all around maybe the community can provide you with their favorite one!

Hello, @bankone! Welcome to the community, It's great to see you here! I definitely feel how overwhelming speaking with big crowds can be. I personally dislike them too! This is a fantastic opportunity to ease yourself into socializing and discover what suits you best. I recommend trying out Roblox, Rec Room, and VR chat. They're fantastic apps for meeting new people and engaging in social interactions.
