VRChat error

Anytime I load into VRChat I get an error message saying “Oculus Performance Error During User Proof check: Timeout during fetching DSAT” i’m not using PCVR I’m just using a Meta Quest 3 and I don’t know how to get rid of this and I would really like some help, i’m also unable to press the Okay button during this pop-up.

Hey @LeoTheLionTherian. We know this error message can be alarming and we want to assist you resolving things as soon as possible. We'll recommend some troubleshooting steps for you and ask a few questions just for clarity. 

 

  1. Are you having this issue with one app, specific apps or when using your headset in general? 
  2. Does this happen often or has it just occurred? 
  3. Have you updated your software?   

 

In the meantime, here are a few troubleshooting steps we feel will be useful. 

 

  • Check if this has been reported as a "known issue" or for any app specific documents and follow any handling/resolution steps documented
  • Restart the Headset
  • If any changes caused this to start, undo these changes (Refresh Rate, Hand Tracking, Experimental Settings, etc.)
  • Log out and back into the phone app
  • Uninstall that application, restart the headset, and reinstall the application.
  • Factory Reset

Imagine asking for help and then not responding when help is offered, lol. 

anywho, I hope this was resolved. Seems like a fairly common issue I just wish those who resolved it would come back and tell those who haven’t been able to resolve the issue how to so everyone has a solution instead of gatekeeping it like a horde of pirates booty!~ uwu
