Vegas Infinite (Poker Starts VR) 0 Black Screen and then kicked out to Oculus Home

Hello,

I am reaching out for help as I am not able to access Vegas Infinite anymore. When I try to log on, there is a black screen and music for a very long time. Then the music will stop, then the 3 dots appear and I am back in my Oculus Home environment. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and repeated. Is there something that someone can do to assist me because I have tried all that I know to do.

Hey there! Have you been able to uninstall and install the game? Possibly reach out to the developer of the game?

I had the same issue on my Quest 2. Reinstall fixed it. However, a week later I tried on my Rift S (PC) and the same thing happened. A reinstall didn't fix it and a search led me here. Hope you found a solution.

Edit: Never mind. It did fix it, but the window was behind me for some stupid reason. Centering wouldn't fix it either.

I never said it was fixed. It is not fixed. I still cannot get in. The screen stays black forever and it kicks me out. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times.

I am also having the same issue as him everytime I log on it’s just a black screen with 3 dots I purchased this game from the meta webstore and no other game has had any problems but Vegas infinite I’m using a standalone oculus quest 2 with no cables or anything attached and my quest and app are both up to date and I don’t know how to solve the problem

Hey there, @ilovemon3y. We definitely don't want you to continue to miss out on experiencing Vegas Infinite, so we want to get to the bottom of this! With this issue only being seen upon opening this app, we do want to confirm the following have been attempted: 

  • Uninstall the app
  • Log out of the Meta Quest mobile app.
  • Reboot the headset by holding the power button for 30 seconds.
  • Reinstall the app 

Of course, if any issues continue, do let us know! We may need to reach out to the game developers to report a possible bug.
