Very slow work on laptop connect

Hi! I have but my oculus quest 3 a week ago and can't use it because of very poor work perfomance when I connect it to my laptop by hdmi/cable connect or air connect, doesn't matter. Whe I disconnected it, all works fine and very smoothly. Please help!!! BTW I change my video adapter on meta app like I read in a some previous post.

Hi there, @Elanornakh! We don't want this to continue pulling you away from the world of PCVR, so we'd love to help out with that Quest 3 connection! To start, we highly suggest making sure your headset and PC meet the current requirements to use Quest Link, just to help narrow down the cause. That Quest 3 PC connection should not be using an HDMI cable, but rather an official or supported Link Cable listed in that article. From there, we'd like you to go through the following questions and steps, so we can get a full grasp of the issue at hand:

 

  • Is your router in the same room as the PC and headset?
  • Do you have a VPN connected?
  • Are you connecting your USB cable to a USB 3 port on your PC?
  • Please ensure both devices are connected to the same network.
     

Take all the time you need with that, and get back to us when you can!

Thank you @Elanornakh,  for the update to the matter. We're sorry this has been an ongoing issue, however we are taking the proper steps for a resolution let me assure you on that. With that being said, are you still experiencing the original connection performance speed issues, or is this an entirely new concern you would like addressed? If you haven't already, please ensure your Quest 3 headset is on the most recent software update with is V65. You can do so, by following these steps below:

  1. Press / on your right Touch controller to pull up your universal menu.
  2. Hover over the clock on the left side of the universal menu. ...
  3. Select Settings in the top right corner.
  4. Select System, then select Software Update from the left menu.
