When I connect my VR headset to my PC, it keeps freezing and I've timed it multiple times. Gorilla Tag Freezes every 10–15 minutes, Rec room Won't even start, Beat sabour Freezes after 1–2 minutes.
My PC is more than powerful enough to run these games, and I’ve tried many fixes from Reddit and Meta forums Nothing has worked. When the freeze happens, my PC still works fine. the game keeps running, I can move and talk, but the VR headset gets stuck on one frame. If I move my head, the image duplicates. The VR works perfectly when I use it standalone.

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out with the link issue that you have been having.
We can recommend a few tricks that might help negate the freezing issue for you.
Above all its imperative that all PC and headset drivers have been fully updated, also that if using a link cable that it is 3.0 and using a 3.0 port, if longer than 3m than it is an AOC.
If using air link make sure that your home network isn't causing any issues, firewall, antivirus, connected to 5GHz, PC connected via Ethernet to router, etc.
Troubleshooting steps for a Link.
1- Disable Wi-Fi, and Air Link on headset.
2- Use the Meta Quest PC Application Setup file, select Repair.
3- Confirm USB Power Saver, and Selective Suspending are set to Disabled in Device Manager.
4- Locate the OculusDebugTool.exe on your PC hard drive, launch it and select Service > Toggle console window visibility > Select Yes. Then leave the window open in the background.
Let us know how you get on!
Thanks.
