I'm coming here because I've been contacting support since Oct 16th, and I've had no resolution to this bizzarro issue I've been experiencing. Two chats, and two emails, and nothing!!! Where is a phone number where I'll have to go through 73 prompts before I end up being disconnected? That would just be icing on the cake. It's been more than a week since I've heard anything from anyone...at all. I don't know if I have a faulty charging dock, or a faulty left controller. (Quest 3) I've been VR-ing since the Innovator Edition btw, so no newbie here. Or tech moron 🙂
Everything about the charging dock works fine, except my first inclination that something was wrong...there is no "chime" happening when placing the left controller in the dock. Orange light appears as if charging, green light shows when "supposedly" charged, and then, 85% of the time, I can't get the left controller to even power up. In the unlikely chance it DOES turn on and come to life, and I think "Oh, maybe it works now", it 100% of the time will lose connection to the headset. And I can't use it. Now, if I take the "charging battery" out, and replace it with a regular AA battery, I have NO ISSUE of losing connection. Ever.
My first two chat geniuses told me to switch the batteries from one controller to the other. Ummmm...And then asked me to supply serial numbers with prefix examples that weren't even correct at all. So, I did. Never heard back. On Oct 17th, I decided to email support instead, so a new support person asked for all my vitals and...I have never heard back...TO THIS DAY. Ugh!!! I then sent another email, last week, asking for an explanation about what is going on? Why support doesn't even know the product they are supporting, and how do I know if I have a dock issue or a controller issue. All I want is an exchange if the dock/controller is faulty. I see how/where to do returns, but I want to exchange it for a working one. IF that is even the problem. ADVICE???? For the love of everything!!!!!!! WHAT IS GOING ON?????

Mark? What's up, bra? Hey, just wanted to tell you I spent some buku dineros on your new gizmos and I've been having some gnarly issues. I tried contacting your peeps four times now, but they're ghosting me, bra! What's up with that? Why don't you get a crew that actually has knowledge in your work and are willing to help us scraggers resolve our problemos. I know you're busy getting jacked and all, but how can I cruise the Meta like you want, and capture little aliens in my crib, if my unit and hand tool is mid?

Haven't heard one word from Meta. I tried 5 times. Yesterday morning I boxed it up and dropped it off at FEDex for return.
