Stupidly, thinking it just meant a cache clear, I deleted the app data for Wander.
The favorites were all gone after that.
But I was smart enough to do a cloud backup before I did the data removal.
It doesn't seem to matter!
I see the backup listed when I go to the backups page. But clicking "Restore" does NOT bring all my favorites back in to Wander!
I tried everything... even turning off automatic backups, uninstalling and then reinstalling Wander, and then again restoring that backup from just before the data removal.
But I am thinking about one possible explanation myself...
It really messed me up when Meta took over in 2022. My Quest 2 became useless until I created a whole new account with my other email and a different user name and password, and then I had to factory reset too, and knew of no backup to restore Wander, so I PAID FOR IT AGAIN WHICH MADE ME VERY ANGRY.
Now, I can STILL login to Meta, with those old credentials, and there is STILL a 2022 Wander backup sitting there, and I know for sure I hadn't saved any backups yet then.
Maybe Wander still thinks I am that old Meta profile. So, When I click "Restore" next to today's backup in Meta backups, that restore never gets accepted by Wander because it is for the new me but Wander still thinks I am the old me.
Does this make any sense? I don't know yet, but I'm gonna further investigate.
