We don't have company email

Unable to add my wife an account on my headset. It keeps calling for company email. We don't have one. We tried to reset the headset but to no avail. I’m banging my head against a wall with it all!

We have the quest 2 and 3 and thought we could have shared the games on the one account with 2 separate user names?  Is this not possible? 

( we have tried uninstalling adding the account with both headsets reset at same time  too)

Hi there, @Hebrons! We really appreciate you sharing this experience with the community. We certainly know how sharing games and experiences with our friends and family brings us closer together, and we're eager to lend a hand! 

 

On each Meta Quest headset, you can add up to 3 additional Meta accounts. You're wife will need to create their own account with a mobile phone using the Meta Horizon mobile app. With their account added as the secondary, they'll be able to install and use apps that they have purchased from the Meta Quest Store, as well as apps purchased by your admin Meta account, as long as you've turned on app sharing.

 

With app sharing, you can share purchased apps with additional accounts on your device as the admin. Please keep in mind that secondary accounts can purchase their own apps, but those apps will not be shared with other accounts on the device.

 

As for asking for a company email, we have a few questions for you below:

 

  • Are both your devices asking for a company email?
  • Since the reset, are you able to log into your original account on the headset?
  • Are you logged into your original account on your mobile app?
  • Has your wife already created their own Meta account?
  • Are you working through these steps to add an additional account?

Hi we have tried everything and when we try and set up a user account it just gives us this screen but we don’t have an account given to us by an organisation. This is a personal email account that we had this upon not a business account we’ve tried uninstalling The quest but nothing works. We are unable to add users to the account

This is the message we keep getting when trying to add an account. It’s so frustrating as going round in circles Opie g the headset having to reinstall trying new emails etc to get the same issue each time 

i have this same issue. been frying to sort it for days just going rlund in circles
