So I'm trying to use WebVR from the latest stable Firefox, and I'm not getting anything. I'm trying some of the demo applications, and when I click Enter if I have the Rift just above my eyes (so I can still see to click enter on the WebVR app) it fades to black, and then goes right back to the home environment. I do see Firefox in the recently run applications. Firefox will even sometimes crash!
I was running the latest version, then tried the latest from the Public Test Channel, and neither one works with it. Anybody? Or did Oculus just break WebVR and haven't fixed it yet? Will they fix it?
The behaviour of my tests change a little bit since my last post. When I start something on https://mozvr.com/ and click on the glasses to start the vr mode the view on my pc screen changes to the right view (splitscreen for left and right eye). But in Oculus I'm still in the home view and nothing more happens. In the oculus application on my pc I can also see that firefox is running. Very strange 😞
I have to close the Oculus application first, then I have to refresh the page on Mozilla that I want to enter, then I click on VR button, Oculus starts again itself and after that I can watch in VR mode the VR content. But if I have to load another page on internet I have to repeat the whole procedure again. Weird!!!
If WebVR with Firefox version 55 is not working for you, double-check to make sure that you've installed the 64-bit version of Firefox! WebVR support does not seem to work with the 32-bit version.
64-bit version here, but not working properly. I have to restart Oculus to see another webpage with VR content. This webpage https://sketchfab.com/models/categories/architecture I can't enter in VR mode even after multiple restarting. On the screen I see VR content in my Oculus headset I see Oculus Home.

Tried this, and actually works! Although, like you, I need to close the Oculus application before trying another VR page 😞 At least it sorta, more or less works now. Very annoying and weird. This is Win10 64-bit with Firefox 56 64-bit version.
