So I noticed that my computer was weird, with the windows mouse cursor constantly going in and out of "loading" mode, I noticed this was correlated to the OVRServer process. I installed a completely fresh version of Windows on a clean SSD, updated drivers, updated windows, then installed Meta Quest Link again. And the problem instantly manifested again. VR does work, but it seems to be slower than usual, hard to know for sure. I think the latest update triggered it, but I'm not sure. What can I do? Something is wrong and I can't find a solution.

Yup exact same behavior. I just close the service all together and it goes away. It is rly annoying while using my headset tho. It came up after last update.

Same here. Very annoying. I just completely wiped Quest Link from my PC and reinstalled but as soon as the install had finished it returned. OVR Server is also showing high power usage.

OK, this is a temporary solution so far. I went to services and set the OVR to Manual so it only starts when i open the app. And for the cursor; I went to windows and replace the working in background cursor with my normal cursor. its a hack. But i can now not think about it while they update or debug this on a next update.

agreed this bug needs to be fixed, or the software could be improved. constant spinning wheel is the PC searching for the wireless connection to the Quest/ oculus. A little frustrating when not using the headset.

Yes. Bug is confirmed. Win11, since latest meta PC app update. I have to manually shut down the processes to stop. Also if you use the BETA version, you cannot even close the app. It just reopens itself even if you stop all the processes. Please fix it, as it just hogs system resources unneccessary.
