Weird line through the middle of my screen when playing PCVR

ToxicFox8.9.8

This happens on both airlink/link cable. Whenever I play pcvr games on my quest 2 my game sometimes freezes and then a weird zigzag line appears through my screen. A temporary fix I found was clicking the power button and then just turn it back on. This only stopped it for a few seconds until it would come back. This glitch makes me completely lose depths perception in game and completely ruins immersion. It also looks like both lenses are offset from each other. I can’t tell if one lense is fine and the other is different. This also only happens when playing pcvr.
my specs are:

Ryzen 7 5700X

RTX 3060ti

32 gigs of ram

3 tbs of storage

has anyone else had this issue?

How are you doing today, @ToxicFox8.9.8? We love the fact you are enjoying using your Quest 2 for PCVR, and we understand how this freezing and lines appearing are affecting your experience. We would like to work with you to attempt to remedy the situation. Firstly, can you answer a few questions for us?

  1. When did this issue start exactly?
  2. Does the freezing and lines happen when you try to use the Quest in standalone?'
  3. In PCVR, does this happen when you play games only, or does this happen in the Home Environment?
  4. Have you updated your PC drivers and the Quest headset?

We hope to hear from you soon, and we look forward to working with you!

The issue first started a few months back but wasn’t really an issue. I would just put my oculus in sleep mode and then turn it back on and it would be fixed. In the past month, it’s has gotten so bad that putting my oculus in sleep mode and turning it back on didn’t fix the issue. It happens almost immediately after I go into a game, and not in the home environment. It also only happens in pcvr and not standalone. While trying to fix the issue, I completely reinstalled my graphics drivers but nothing else. Are there any other drivers you think I should update? I also haven’t checked if my quest needs to be update but I believe it is up to date.

Thank you for getting back to us, @ToxicFox8.9.8. Can you please double check your headset and ensure that it is up-to-date with all updates? After you do that, if the problem is still present, can you send us a private message? Can you please select our name to get to our profile page, or click here?
