For my account, last month (Feb 5 - Feb 18), I redeemed $180 in referral bonuses and spent it down to $2. However, when I clicked the claim button again on March 4, I received an error message, and the referral button disappeared, but the money didn’t go into my wallet.
For my son’s account, this was his first time claiming referral bonuses this month. The first two bonuses (a total of $60) were processed normally, but when he tried to claim the third one, he encountered the same error message, and the referral button disappeared without the money being added to his wallet.
The error message was:
“You may try again later to redeem your Meta Horizon Store balance value as Quest Cash. For further support, please contact customer support.”
I contacted Meta’s support team, and they only said that there have been a lot of similar reports recently and that their engineers are working on a fix. However, I know this issue has been ongoing for a long time without being resolved, so I don’t expect Meta to actually fix it.
I’d like to ask: What are the current rules for claiming referral bonuses? Is there a daily, monthly, or quarterly limit? I don’t want Meta to keep stealing my money.
