I live in Hong Kong but also travel to Canada. There are only Japan versions of the Oculus Quest 3 here. I want to get it but want to make sure it is the same and has no limitations. ie things are in English and I can play in other countries including the USA and Canada.
Does anyone know the differences and restrictions? The staff at the store are useless. Thank you!

Hey there, @johns.714875! We're excited to hear that you're interested in getting a new Meta Quest 3! In regards to English support and playing in other countries, you shouldn't have any restrictions and should be good to go to play anywhere you please! We would like for you to keep in mind that the power cable to charge the headset may be different, and you may have to get a power adapter as the cables vary by region. The biggest factor is that if you're ever going to need a replacement for your device for any reason, you will only be able to get support for your device in Japan, as the warranty is country/region locked. Hi there meta support,
I just got my JP version of the meta quest 3.
Is there any restrictions with regards to payment methods as i could not add any payment method.
my cards are from UAE banks.I have Mastercard and debit Visa cards and both are not working.
I also tried PayPal and it’s not working.

Hi @Skillcrusher111. Thanks for reaching out. We know buying the content you want, when you want it, is a necessity when it comes to enjoying anything in gaming, VR included. If you haven't already, it's recommended that you try on another browser, device, and/or network. You can also try the mobile or desktop app. There's a chance the payment method itself may be the issue, as there are a few requirements a payment method must meet before qualifying.
If you're still receiving errors in adding a payment method, we'd ask that you please send us a private message. There, we can gather personal information and proceed accordingly. Talk soon!
