Hi there 😊 1st things first, what is your budget ? And what else do you want to do with the pc ? Work, games and so on ?

Tony

A PC with lots of gadgets inside and a thing to see in 3D that you put on your head.

Don't do it bro. Trust me on this. I'm a PC VR guy and a day one purchaser of Quest 3. It's been a complete nightmare trying to use this thing with PC. Meta updates constantly break airlink and even the cable link. This thing is just not designed to support PC and Meta could give a **bleep** less because they make more money if you buy their games.

Quest 3 does not need a computer, it is standalone and has its own store and operating system along with it

PCVR games are heavy on the GPU (have to render for both eyes at high FPS), so make sure thats not a weak point of the PC. If you want wireless connection, make sure you have a good router directly wired to the PC, and close enough to not degrade the signal because of walls and such.

The Meta Quest is a standalone VR headset, so you don't necessarily need a PC to use it. It runs its own operating system based on Android, allowing you to enjoy many VR experiences without a PC.

If you want to use PC VR mode, which unlocks a wider library of games, you'll need a PC that meets the minimum specifications set by Meta. The Oculus software supports AMD and Nvidia graphics cards. While Intel Arc cards aren't currently supported by Oculus software, they can work with SteamVR through the iVry Driver.

Keep in mind that VR puts a greater strain on your graphics card compared to regular gaming. This is because VR renders two separate images, one for each eye, and often at higher refresh rates. If you're planning to build a new PC specifically for VR gaming, consider getting a graphics card with 16GB of VRAM or a minimum of 8GB. VRAM alone isn't a good indicator of performance check benchmarks and reviews on the graphics card itself.
