I am trying to cast my gameplay from my quest to my PC using the cast-to-web option. The video is successfully cast. However, the sound is not, and I haven't been able to find a fix for this. Is there anything I can do or is this intentional?
We noticed you've run into a challenge with no sound coming through when casting to your PC.
We understand how important it is to be able to enjoy all the features of the Quest headset, and we would like to do everything we can to try and get the audio back working.
What we suggest you do is make sure that all devices are connected on the exact same network. After this Try and attempt to cast from another app. If the casting from another app works fine in terms of the audio, then it could be an app issue.

Hey PapalPenguin! We can see that you are having issues with your audio when casting to your TV. We understand how important it is to be able to share what we see in VR with others, and we're eager to lend a hand!
We must first mention that casting directly to a Chromecast device or TV is not fully supported by Meta, and may not work with some Chromecast devices or TVs. With that said we would recommend you to try some of the steps listed here for casting to a phone or computer, you can then share your screen to the TV.

I have verified that all the devices are on the same network and have rebooted my router to make sure the settings are fine as well but I still cannot get sound to work. I have also made sure that the oculus, my pc, and chrome browser are all up to date.
Unfortunately I can't check if other casts to the PC work because most apps are set up to cast to a tv or chromecast device (youtube, netflix, crunchyroll, spotify, etc.). If you have an app recommendation for me to try and test, I'm willing to do that. But since I am able to get the video from the oculus through casting, I believe it's an error on that side.
