So I've been in the PTC for a long time and noticed that updates randomly get pushed to the headset but nothing that actually shows what was added in these updates. Does anyone know where I could read patch notes on the latest PTC releases?
My understanding is that PTC update details aren't posted as the features included are subject to change. As these are tests, not all features may go to plan and understandably there may be bugs. Features may need to be removed and go back to the drawing board before being revisited in future official updates. Due to this, the Meta Quest Release Notes only show details of updates that are officially released and available for everyone.
Is there a place at all to read PTC notes though? I can understand why they wouldn't add PTC release notes to the official release notes page since they aren't official yet but it would be very nice to know what's getting updated when I receive a new update.
@LethalxDose unfortunately, reddit isn't that well organised. You'd think there'd be a dedicated thread with just the differences of the latest version, but then every man and his dog chime in and the info gets watered down.
A quick search on reddit brings up several posts which collectively give a list of the changes, and Lunayian on the site formally known at twitter also has some info.
