Hello, A couple weeks ago, I was phished and ended up getting my FB account hacked , then it was shut down.
The error message that i get says that the instagram account "genevepiersons" has violated community standards. This is not my IG account. When I search for the account, it doesn't exist. The message also says that I can appeal with my instagram account, but looking at MY instagram account, it says there are NO VIOLATIONS. I have screen prints of the place where the login occured, the messages that phished my account, as well as the error messages.
I have tried many times to email customer service, but can't get any reply. My Fb account also has a business account that also appears to be shut down. I really could use some help getting my account back.
I see on here that some people get actual help and many of us are pushed back to the same screens that have been unsuccessfully tried many, many times.
It's obvious that there are literally hundreds, if not thousands of people that this happens to, but META won't do anything about it.
FB draws people in to run their business, keep memories, keep contact with people. Then after 15 years, we get hacked and all of that is stripped away overnight. Not because of something that we did, but because of security that seems to punish innocent people and doesn't seem to do anything about hackers. The level of frustration after chasing the same solutions that don't work is off the charts.
Why can't you fix this for your customers?I would be eternally grateful if you could help me out. thanks
