Why can't +86 phone receive SMS verification code?

I'm a quest3 user. And this is a very serious problemfor me and others who use +86 phone number. My meta account can't log in, because when I try to get the SMS verification code, it will always be :You've requested too many codes. Please try again later.

So I signed up for this new account to give feedback. My original account can't log in now.

+86 is the country code for China.

There are two issues with this:

1 - China is not a supported country for Meta headsets. The list of countries is here: https://www.meta.com/en-gb/help/orders-and-returns/articles/quest-supported-countries/

2 - China blocks access to Meta's servers. This makes using an imported Quest problematic (without a VPN).

I've seen reports of other services on the net having trouble with 2FA SMS with China too.

Thank you for your reply. The problem is that the SMS service was available a few days ago. And it's suddenly not working. Is there a meta customer service contact channel to directly appeal account related issues?This is too painful for users who have already purchased some software.

Could Meta's official support assist me in logging into my Meta account so that I can use a 2FA app for two-step verification and avoid this problem in the future? Thank you.

Hello MetaQuest Support Team, I'm Jingbo, and I'm still having trouble with the 2-factor authentication despite the 24-hour wait. My +86 phone number still isn't receiving the verification code. I am sending you a message privately. Thank you again for your reply
