I honestly can't believe that nearly a year after the release of this card I'm still getting really poor performance using anything Oculus.
Can someone from support tell me why I'm still getting a message saying that my 'flagship' graphics card doesn't meet minimum specifications when trying to run Oculus software on my PC?

Hi. I found a fix for blurry image via Link Cable. You can safely disregard warning about unsupported Gpu. It does not matter.
I oculus DebugTool set manually your Encoding Resolution Width to 3664. That is all.
I now have clear crisp image via the Link Cable with my RX 7900 XTX.
You can experiment with other bits as well if you want. My bit rate is set to 250.
I can finally play my F1 22 the way I always wanted.

to be fair, since the dawn of vr, AMD encoders were not up to the task.
its less of a meta issue and more of an AMD issue.
people with 70xx series, use VD with AV1...best you can do.
or research before buying gpu's and see what is what.

this is why anyone serious in to vr doesnt buy AMD. its not a meta thing.
"gpu not supported" aside, that happened to 30 and 40 series users for a while. they dont care much for pcvr at meta obviously...promoting and selling standalone is their focus,.
that being said, any tiny bit of research would have led anyone to see that the amd encoders are **bleep**.
either your VD AV1 with 70xx or you buy an nvidia card...been that way forever.

Interesting comment...
I had no issues with my Valve Index on either 6900XT or 7900XTX but have had the 'warning' from Oculus for literally years.
The Oculus software / drivers are not guiltless - well illustrated, in my own experience, with steamVR.
Odd... The 4090 also seems unsupported...

Yeah, linking to the FAQ and saying "hey keep an eye on our blog" for updates regarding graphics cards that were released... *checks watch* 11.5 months ago isn't being helpful at all.

This is a super offensive response. And can’t possibly be human.

This doesn’t provide a resolution to your software telling me that my 14900k 128gb ddr5 rx7900xtx computer is a slug. We need to hear that Meta is working on supporting the newest graphics cards on the market! Meta is being the slug not my computer.

Why do you mostlysupport Nvidea? The bias here is unbearible. The RX7900XTX is AMDs flagship card. I will not be using any meta product from now on.
