Why is Horizon Worlds not inclusive for Mute/Tourettes suffering people?

There is no public text chatting, you can only chat to the people if you ask them to be your friends but to be your friends they would have to go from being strangers complete to friends,  and people, i dont kow how it works, but i dont think people want to add someone as a friend who can't even start a conversation in public mode cause they dont know nothing about them. That  means we disabled people who can't speak or have tourrettes vocal screaming tics so we mute our mics and can't speak, will never be able to talk to them.....even though the Quest Meta Support said there's facebook messenger and Oculus chat you can use.

But those require that the people are your friends first.

I dont know....mmm, but i visited Horizon worlds it was cool but i felt isolated and i couldn't participate and socilaize with anyone cause there's no text chat . All the other people were having great conversations.

I'm assuming Altspace and VR Chat are the same.

Then i guess we people with tourettes or who are mute cannot use any social apps to socialize unless you already somehow made friends....by maybe other of your non disabled friends helped you made friends and then now you can use chat. But i dont have IRL friends or nothing who can help me.

Too bad , sorry i can't use VR Social apps.

I completely get where you're coming from with this and can assure you the Meta teams don't want you feeling isolated in any way, shape, or form. If you haven't already, you should definitely voice these concerns in the Ideas board of the forums - a lot of great progress has been made thanks to this. I hope to see your great ideas there soon!
